Esthetics
The Esthetics Program is designed to equip individuals for employment in the field of Esthetics. Students in the NACC Esthetics program will gain knowledge in skin care and human anatomy, nutrition, and the importance of bacteriology and decontamination to both the esthetician and client. Students will gain skills and experience in a variety of services provided by estheticians, including nail technology, skin care, manicures & pedicures, make-up artistry, body treatments and facials. An understanding of business management skills for salons and spas along with basic computer skills will also be covered.
Approved as a vocational program under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005
Theory – 490 Hours
Practical – 510 Hours
Practicum – 40 Hours
Total – 1,040 Hours
Estheticians can work in variety of settings like:
Day Spas
Hotel/Resort Spas
Destination Spas
Medical Spas
Cruise Ships
Nail and Hair Salons
- Wellness/Fitness Centers
Canadian students enrolled in this program may be eligible for financial assistance. Financial assistance can be Second Career, Social Assistance, The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), and so on. You may be qualified for a quick bank loan as well.
